Tile of Spain kicked off their 2018 CEU and Material showcase series in New York City with another successful event! In conjunction with NKBA Manhattan, the first program of the year was held at the brand new Royal Green Appliance Center in Tribeca. 

The event took place on June 20, 2018 during the monthly NKBA chapter meeting. Kitchen & Bath designers a part of the association gathered into the showroom after work and were greeted with cava, beer and traditional Spanish tapas including pulpo a la gallega, datiles, setas, manchego and quince skewers and jamon on pan con tumaca

.

As the attendees enjoyed their welcome drinks, they were able to network with Tile of Spain companies Cevica, Colorker, Dune Ceramica, EMAC, Ibero Porcelanico, STN Ceramica and Togama. The companies showcased their latest tile collections and innovations to the group. They were able see and touch the product and ask questions about how they can use the products in their kitchen and bath designs. 

As the networking portion came to a close, the group join Tile of Spain Technical Consultant Ryan Fasan for the CEU presentation entitled “Ceramics for Life: Consumer & Design Trends 2018.”  The presentation explored what’s trending and what’s next in Spanish ceramic tile by comparing prevailing design trends that help interior designers and architects develop a stronger understanding of modern ceramic tile’s broad appeal and applicability.

After the very engaging presentation, attendees were able to ask technical questions and network more with the companies and each other.
