Coverings Awards Honors Spanish Tile at This Year’s CID Awards Ceremony

Coverings, the largest international tile and stone exhibition in North America, celebrated Spanish tile during this year’s annual Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards.

The CID Awards, held on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, honored outstanding achievements in architecture, design and the installation of tile and stone, in both residential and commercial projects. This year, the design panel was comprised of esteemed experts who evaluated projects based on four categories: execution, original usage, and overall design and purpose.

The 2022 edition of the awards marks the ninth consecutive year a project featuring Tile of Spain products received top honors. The space receiving high accolades from Coverings this year is Paraty Tapas Bar by Muyelena Studio CV. Paraty Tapas Bar received Special Recognition in the International category thanks to the design team’s attention to detail, creativity, and craftsmanship.
