Tile of Spain kicked off its 2019 education and networking series in Chicago with co-host Poggenpohl, for a night of tapas, tiles, and trends.

The event took place on October 17, 2019 at the Poggenpohl Kitchen Design Studio in Chicago’s notorious Merchandise Mart.

Upon entering the showroom, local architects and designers were greeted by Tile of Spain manufacturers Azteca, Dune, Harmony (Peronda Group), Pamesa, Saloni and Todagrés for a first look at their latest collections.

Guests enjoyed wine, beer and traditional Spanish tapas including Grilled Octopus, Gambas Al Ajillo, Empanada Picadillo, Patatas Bravas, Gazpacho and more, as they discussed upcoming design trends for 2020 with Tile of Spain manufacturers.

After refreshments, guests were met by Tile of Spain Consultant, Ryan Fasan who presented “Ceramics For Life”. The AIA accredited one-hour CEU explored prevailing consumer design trends, buying behaviors, and the benefits of ceramic and followed by a Q & A session.
